Partway has no accounts, so there is no profile of you to build. A search is a set of places, a departure time, and optionally two first names. It lives on our servers for 90 days so your plan can be reopened and shared, then it deletes itself. That is most of the story.
No accounts, passwords, emails or phone numbers. No payment details: booking happens on the retailer's own site. No advertising or analytics trackers, and no cookies on this website. The app keeps your search history on your phone, not on our servers; delete the app and it is gone.
To answer a search, our servers (Amazon Web Services, London region) look up routes and stations with Mapbox, public transport journeys with TravelTime, and trains and fares with National Rail data services. Your searched places are sent to those services as part of the lookup; your name never is. The drive geometry comes from OpenStreetMap contributors.
The link you send a driver shows the stations you ticked, the detour each one costs, and your first name if you gave one. It never shows prices, train times, or where you are ultimately going. Anyone with the link can open it, that is what makes it work with no accounts, so share it like you would any private link.
